The Challenge
Create a multifunctional wall mirror collection that goes beyond reflection - one that serves as sculptural, decorative art while embracing sustainability and emotional connection.
The Solution
AlcheMirror transforms upcycled materials (paper mache, discarded mirrors, and cardboard) into elegant, modular wall pieces. Each mirror features raw, irregular textures that celebrate the alchemical process of turning waste into beauty. Abstract, hand-painted motifs inspired by alchemy add a layer of mystery and individuality.
Each abstract motif tells a unique story, representing the journey of recycling and the transformation that the materials undergo.
The irregularities in the texture symbolize the alchemical process of change and metamorphosis, as waste materials are transformed into artful pieces.
Colour Palette and Decorative Motifs:
Deep and muted tones are chosen to evoke a sense of elegance and mystery while harmonizing with the eco-conscious ethos of the product. Black, representing the mystery and allure of alchemy, complements the palette.
Abstract decorative motifs, inspired by alchemical symbols and mystical patterns, are hand-painted on the frames, infusing them with a touch of individuality.
